Joanne leads our Treasury Function and serves as Company Secretary, providing strong guidance on financial management and corporate governance. With over 18 years of experience at Breight Group, she has been instrumental in shaping processes that support efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

Her focus on inclusiveness and diversity helps us leverage a team with a rich mix of skills, knowledge, and ideas, driving innovation and collaboration. Joanne ensures a culture where every voice is valued, supporting our long-term growth and the achievement of our business goals.

Sake is our Chief Financial Officer, providing expert leadership across finance and business management to support the growth and success of our company. With over 28 years of international experience and a foundation from a Big 4 accounting firm, he enhances our financial strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency through innovative systems and processes.

Sake’s strategic insight and collaborative approach help us make informed decisions, optimise resources, and drive sustainable growth. His guidance ensures strong governance, operational excellence, and financial outcomes that directly support our long-term objectives and business ambitions.

Jon is central to our operational success, leading high-performing teams through collaboration, respect, and empowerment. With extensive experience in maintenance, shutdowns, and operations management across Australia, he drives efficiency, profitability, and project delivery to the highest standards.

Skilled in P&L management, business development, and HSEQ compliance, Jon mentors’ leaders and implements strategic initiatives, while fostering open communication and continuous improvement. His approach ensures a motivated, loyal workforce and supports the company’s long-term growth and success.

With over 30 years’ experience in the Utilities, Mining, Resources and Infrastructure sectors, Andrew has built a successful career as a Manager, progressively advancing through the industry.

Throughout his professional journey, he has honed expertise in project execution, business strategy, client relations, leadership and is defined by a commitment to operational excellence and safety.

Paul contributes over 20 years of multidisciplinary project delivery experience across civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical scopes, applying strong technical expertise, commercial discipline and hands-on leadership to successfully execute complex resource and infrastructure projects while strengthening client confidence and operational excellence.

Alana is a Human Resources Manager with broad experience in employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, and organisational development. She has led HR functions across large-scale projects and operations, driving recruitment, learning and development, performance management, and cultural initiatives.

Her work ensures our HR strategies align with business objectives, fostering inclusion, leadership development, and a positive workplace culture. Alana’s guidance optimises our workforce performance and supports tangible outcomes across all levels of the organisation.

Jeremy has more than 25 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across multiple industries. He has implemented robust HSEQ systems, led risk management programs, and fostered a culture of safety and continuous improvement over multi-site operations.

His leadership ensures regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence is held across the business. Jeremy’s guidance strengthens HSEQ performance, supports team development, and drives strategies that enhance safety, sustainability, and organisational efficiency.

Ash Henderson brings a unique blend of technical expertise and operational insight that directly strengthens our efficiency and project delivery. As the lead on our Outlay project management system, he streamlines workflows, enhances collaboration, and ensures projects run smoothly and safely.

His focus on data-driven insights, innovative design solutions, and continuous improvement enables us to optimise resources, reduce risks, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. Ash’s hands-on experience and strategic vision make him a key driver of operational excellence, supporting teams and elevating the overall performance of our operations.

Andrew Smith is our Commercial Manager, leading tendering, contract negotiation and commercial risk management across the Group. A Big 4-trained Chartered Accountant with law and commerce degrees from the University of Western Australia, he brings more than 20 years’ experience from both sides of the mining relationship — in commercial and finance leadership roles with miners including Fortescue, Iluka Resources and St Barbara, and with contractors and service providers to the resources sector.

Andrew first joined Breight Group as Financial Controller, and returns with a working knowledge of how our business prices, delivers and gets paid for its work. Having led finance teams before moving into commercial, he bridges the two — connecting what we price at tender with what we ultimately earn on the job, so our commercial positions are grounded in the numbers and our reporting reflects what is actually happening on site. That combination of financial, legal and commercial expertise strengthens the way we tender, negotiate and administer contracts — applying commercial discipline, managing risk and building the long-term client relationships that underpin our growth.
